“Ha Long Ocean Park” offically open

On 29^th April 2017, Sun Group has officially opened Typhoon Water Park – the most modern water park in South East Asia, which is belong to the international entertainment area Sun World Halong Complex in Ha Long city (Quang Ninh). Typhoon Water Park included 12 unique and new underwater game, bringing a new entertainment location to Ha Long city.

After a long time of seting up the great underwater construction, the final moment when each category is finished is also the greatful and happy time of every staff at HVC. This is not only the happiness of HVC but also the gratefulness of the investor and citizens as well as tourists of the area when the construction is finished on time to serve the demand of people during 30th April and 1st May holiday. 

Located on a 20 ha area, Typhoon Water Park’s design is inspired by the model of 1^st class water parks in the world such as Typhoon Lagoon (USA), Blizzard Beach (Walt Disney, USA), Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi (UAE)… It helps fulfilled the entertainment demand of all age guest, Typhoon Water Park is equipped with 12 underwater game separated in 3 area: Family game area, kid area and high thrill area.

At the Kid area, Typhoon Water Park offer a colourful entertainment area with many interesting and safe game included.

Impressive slides and model of funky creatures at “Sun Bay” or “Wonderfull Island” bring surprise and gratefull feeling to kids.  

Not far from there is the Family Area with many teamworks game which require co-operation from players such as “Python challenge”, “Pirates Island”….

The place of interest in Typhoon Water Park is high thrill games for the respective passionate fan. In order to enjoy the most wonderful, impressive and challenge your limit, try out the free falling from 20 meters height on spiral slides, merry-go-round 360 degree in “Tropic storm” game.

Or you can try the 45 degree tilt funnel in “Typhoon storm”, challenge yourself with “Riding Dragon across waterfall” … After the hard trip, lastly, is the most wonderful present of Typhoon Water Park for the brave warriors is the relaxing time of floating on the lazy river running around the water park.

All the games at Typhoon Water Park is imported from Europe, which is tested and analyzed according to the most rigorous standard of TÜV (Technischer Überwachungsverein) – Technical Inspection Association of Germany, with the supervise of Europe professional.

Opening in the summer of 2017, the Sun World Ha Long Complex included: Dragon Park, Typhoon Water Park, 2 world record aerial cable and Sun ferris wheel… this will become a place of interest during Ha Long city trip. This entertainment location will be a modern tourism product, helps creating a breakthrough for tourism in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh
