HVC invests in constructing pools in Khoai Chau District- Hung Yen Province

27/04/2015

Investing in pool construction that is aimed instructing kids to swim is still a fresh model in Vietnam. It not only requires a large area of approximately at least 3000m2 but also needs quite a high amount of initial capital spent on pool complex to be able to construct swimming and serve business. Especially as for the suburbs and remote rural areas… if we only depend on the state budget, it will be long before the kids can start to learn swimming, whereas, the children’s drowning rate in Vietnam hold a high position in the world’s ranking list. Hence, only by the socialized cooperation between the state and enterprises could this problem be tackled.

With the support of the District Committee Leaders, The Khoai Chau District People's Committee of Hung Yen Province, the HVC investment and technology joint stock Company has been granted a site for pool construction at the district’s sports center. This site had been planned for construction for a long time; however, due to the lack of funds it could not be implemented. With a capacity for capital, technology as well as the experience in pool erection; only after a brief period of 75 days from the commencement date, the pool was officially completed and put into use. The entire pools are equipped with JDPOOLS- Thailand smart pool devices and technologies which are exclusively distributed by HVC in Vietnam. On 10/06/2014 the pool was officially opened to welcome visitors. A lot of primary and secondary schools in Khoai Chau registered to open the first summer swimming classes.  Contributing to training children to swim to enhance their health and reduce the drowning rate, HVC Group has been delighted to create new motivation in building more and more pools all over the country.

The pool on the first opening day attracted lots of kids.

The swimming pool complex includes training and competing pools.
