In early spring of the Year of the Horse, HVC won the general contractor package for the high-rise MEP project, Phenikaa Tower Hoa Lac

02/03/2026

Beginning the Year of the Horse with a breakthrough mindset, HVC Group received good news as it officially became the general contractor for the MEP system for the Phenikaa Tower project in the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park (Hanoi). This is the second high-rise MEP contract marking the strategic cooperation between HVC and Phenikaa Group, following the successful start of the D4 Dormitory and D5 Commercial and Service Staff Housing projects within the Phenikaa University campus.

Phenikaa Tower Hoa Lac, also known as the "Housing Project for Vicostone Employees," is invested and developed by Phenikaa Group. The project comprises two apartment buildings, 21T1 and 21T2, located in the Bac Phu Cat residential area, Hoa Lac commune (Hanoi). Building 21T1 has been completed and is in use, while building 21T2, phase 2, is currently under construction on a 2,264m2 plot of land. According to the design, building 21T2 will have 21 above-ground floors and 1 basement floor, providing 560 apartments with diverse sizes to meet the needs of various customer segments, from individuals and young families to large families.

Perspective view of Phenikaa Tower Hoa Lac project

The project is located right at the intersection of Thang Long Boulevard and Xuan Mai Road – a strategic gateway to the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park, just 30 minutes from the center of Hanoi. This is also a prime location with a strategic "quartet" of infrastructure: transportation, science and technology, education, and healthcare, allowing residents easy access to the vibrant urban area.

Inspired by the philosophy of sustainable development, Phenikaa Tower Hoa Lac is designed as a miniature city with modern amenities, harmonious green spaces, and a balanced lifestyle. It is considered the perfect choice for residents who appreciate tranquility but still want to enjoy the dynamic pace of life in a rapidly developing knowledge-based urban area.

In this project, HVC acts as the general contractor for the mechanical and electrical systems, implementing the entire M&E system including: electrical systems, water supply and drainage, lightning protection, air conditioning, and related technical items. Given the nature of this high-end apartment project, the investor set stringent requirements regarding progress, technical standards, and aesthetics – criteria that demand a contractor with comprehensive capabilities, practical experience, and a well-structured quality management system like HVC's.

At Phenikaa Tower Hoa Lac, HVC Group is the supplier and installer of the building's mechanical and electrical systems

Earlier, in early December 2025, HVC was also chosen by Phenikaa Group to undertake the general electrical and mechanical (M&E) contracting package for the high-rise building project "D4 Dormitory and D5 Commercial and Service Staff Housing under the Phenikaa University Construction Project" in Duong Noi Ward (Hanoi). As previously reported, to be selected as the general contractor for the D4 and D5 complex, HVC underwent a rigorous evaluation process from Phenikaa. This process not only demonstrates the investor's meticulousness but also clearly proves HVC's capabilities, reputation, and position in the M&E general contracting field in Vietnam.

Currently, at the Phenikaa University construction site, the electrical and mechanical contract undertaken by HVC is on track with positive signs. On-site observations show that construction is progressing rapidly at the D4 dormitory building. In particular, HVC has completed the installation of the concealed electrical and plumbing systems for the first four floors, ready for subsequent phases.

The Origami subdivision in Vinhomes Grand Park is one of the key projects where HVC constructed and handed over the general contractor package for high-rise mechanical and electrical systems

According to HVC representatives, winning the contract for Phenikaa Tower Hoa Lac not only increases the company's revenue but also strengthens its capabilities in high-rise building mechanical and electrical systems – one of the outstanding areas that has made HVC Group famous. With its experience, technical capabilities, and professional management system, HVC expects to collaborate with the investor, Phenikaa, to create high-quality living spaces, thereby enhancing the urban landscape of the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park – considered the "Silicon Valley" of Vietnam.
